The founder of Real Builds has been constructing real structures for over 20 years. Driven by a passionate curiosity, he has spent his life continually seeking knowledge and honing his skills, resulting in a wealth of expertise he is eager to share with the world. His extensive experience spans residential and commercial construction, as well as machine building and design. For the past decade, he has lived off-grid, powering his family’s life with homemade batteries and self-designed solar and wind systems, providing more than enough power and clean, pure water. He sees this way of life as being ideal and believes it should be attainable for all. 

While this lifestyle is ideal, providing people with what they need to achieve this will be a massive undertaking. It may seem like an impossible task, and skepticism is understandable. How can we scale a crypto-fuelled expansion while ensuring returns for our stakeholders? The answer lies in starting small. Instead of going big and risking waste, we will use a 5 acre property that we already own to launch a life experience program. We will begin with 6-10 students, and teach them everything they need to know so they can go on and lead their own teams to build more homes.

Our long term goal is to collaborate with supportive governments around the world and establish ports to manage bulk purchases of materials, ultimately lowering our prices. These materials will be sorted and shipped to our schools worldwide, providing the receiver with everything they need to build a tiny home, or a number of tiny homes in one simple kit with full assembly instructions.

What Exactly Is A Life Experience School?

Let me paint a picture for you… 

A Day in the Life – Building Tiny Homes

All members of the school will have the option to live on site with their families in tiny home built by the students themselves. Each day will begin with an invitation to warm-up and workout, followed by team-building activities like cooking breakfast and breaking fresh bread together. After breakfast, our team will split into groups. The home team will focus on honing their construction skills and expanding their knowledge by building tiny homes for the community. The community team will leave the site and perform various tasks, learning about essential needs often taken for granted. For example, helping with chores at a local farm, assisting with growing food in the gardens/ greenhouse, gathering and prepping food etc. This holistic approach ensures they understand both the technical and social aspects of sustainable living.

One team will prepare and serve lunch using local, nutritious, whole ingredients providing team members with the energy they need to proceed.

After lunch, we get back to work, meeting daily goals as a team. This will instill a strong work ethic and efficient time management skills. Proper nutrition and morning workout routines will help foster this. 

After a productive day, we unwind with a swim in a Great Lake, followed by dinner preparations and laundry and other necessary daily chores to set up for a successful next day. 

After dinner, the team will set goals for the following day as well as complete recommended homework, reinforcing the importance of continuous improvement.

This is the concept of our school in a nutshell. We welcome everyone willing to put in the effort. The tiny homes built by students will provide housing for individuals and families in need. Our model is based on compound growth: the best and brightest will become the teachers and leaders for the next groups. It is our hope that people from around the world will come to us to learn how to provide homes for their communities, and we will empower them. As more Real Build Life Experience Schools open, we will increase our supply capacity, build a skilled workforce, and cultivate experienced investors.”
